Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Mix
1/4 cup quick oats
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon chopped dried apples
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch salt
Combine mix with 1/2-2/3 cup of water (depending on desired thickness) and cook in the microwave on high for 1 minute. You can also add boiling water and cover it for 5 minutes instead.
If you want to make packets just put each mix into a little baggie (the pieces of apple and brown sugar will clump too much for a big container of mix).

I have recently learned that adding a few large marshmallows to brown sugar helps to prevent the brown sugar brick. Have you ever considered trying this for a large batch of this oatmeal mix?
